The checkerboard target is expertly designed for georeferencing your scanning projects with the Trimble X7 scanner. It is securely positioned on a fixed point using a prism pole. Following the scan, simply target the checkerboard with the laser pointer and save it as a point. This allows the scan project to be transformed into the overarching coordinates of the fixed points based on the measured points.
