Introducing the Forensic Set, an essential tool for determining and analyzing the line of fire in forensic science. This high-quality set, crafted in Germany, includes 8 extremely lightweight reference spheres that securely attach to your trajectory rods, providing reliable reference points for your investigations.
Designed for precision, the Forensic Set assists in determining the trajectory of projectiles. To use, simply attach two reference spheres to the trajectory rod and secure them with rubber bands to ensure they stay in place. The rods can then be utilized as intended for your crime scene analyses. The spheres on the trajectory rod can be scanned by a laser scanner, with their centers identified, connected, and extended to determine the possible line of fire. In cases with multiple bullet holes, this set enables accurate identification of the shooter's position.
Product Characteristics:
- Sphere diameter: Ø 90mm
- Sphere weight: 95g
- The hole for trajectory rods is precisely aligned with the sphere's axis.
- The spherical design maximizes scanning efficiency from various angles and is proven to be the most effective target for laser scanning.
- Made of hollow plastic with a special varnish for superior reflective properties.
- Case dimensions: 500 x 420 x 125mm, featuring a precut foam insert for safe transport.
