Leica CloudWorx CAD plugins offer users the unique ability to work with

reality capture data directly inside their CAD system of choice,

including AutoCAD, Revit, BricsCAD, Bentley, and more. CloudWorx enables

efficient visualising, analysing, and 3D modelling, leveraging the

combined power of the CAD package’s native tools paired with specialised

point cloud commands from CloudWorx. A range of tools and smart

automation allows you to speed up 2D drawing creation, model 3D objects

and surfaces, conduct QA and clash checks, and much more, and are

available for an array of applications. Learn more and find your fit

below.

Leica CloudWorx for AutoCAD is the most efficient and popular plug-in

software for using as-built point cloud data – captured by laser

scanners – directly within AutoCAD.

Users take advantage of the familiar AutoCAD interface and tools to

shorten the learning curve for working with laser scan data. Users can

create accurate 2D and 3D as-builts, check proposed designs against

existing conditions, perform critical construction & fabrication QA,

and more… all directly within AutoCAD.

In the past, users often struggled with point cloud manipulation when

using AutoCAD point cloud plug-ins. CloudWorx overcomes this with its

powerful TruSpace viewing window. This intuitive, panoramic viewing

window lets users “see” better what the point cloud represents, and acts

like a super-control to drive point clouds visualisation in AutoCAD

with unprecedented speed.

Leica CloudWorx for Revit is a breakthrough plug-in for efficiently

using rich as-built point cloud data, captured by laser scanners,

directly within Revit for better BIM modelling of existing buildings.

This is useful for a wide range of BIM activities including retrofit

design, construction and operations, and lifecycle asset management of

the building. It provides a virtual visit to the site within Revit with a

complete view of the captured reality.

Users take advantage of the familiar Revit interface and tools to

shorten the learning curve for working with laser scan data. Leica

CloudWorx and the powerful Leica Cyclone and new Leica JetStream point

cloud engines let Revit users efficiently visualise and and create BIM

models from large point cloud data sets. Users get all the advantages of

a high-performance point cloud application directly within Revit.
